A little paper piecing anyone???
I have had these sets for a few months and have yet to play with them. The images are from the sets How Swell and Running Stitches, both from TAC. I started making the card and thought that the shirt would look wonderful paper pieced to match the designer paper that I used (from provocraft). After I adhered it, a thought came to me (rare, I know). Why not add some stickles to the shirt?!?! Everything looks better with stickles, right? So, I added some diamond stickles to that baby and voila! The coloring was done with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I used the 3 flower punch ,from Stampin’ Up’s three for you punch box, to make a border down the right side of the flower DP and then adhered it to my CS base. Then I used my new Crop-a-dile to put eyelet centers in the flowers. Pretty stinkin’ cute if I must say. And of course no card is complete without ribbon! I used TAC’s Toodle Loo blue ribbon tied between the two center eyelets. Next, I put 2 running stitches stamps down the striped panel, adhered the main image and I was done. Perfect “You’re Preggo” card! TFL!
