My Gramma found out that she is DONE with chemo! The Dr. decided that it was too hard on her and that she will be fine without it! Thank God for that! So, I made her this card in celebration of her recovery from colon cancer. I used Gina K’s “Way to Go” stamp set. How cute is this?!?! I just got it in the mail today after adopting the poor little stamps off of a stamper on SCS. I knew they would be perfect. The Blue CS is from DCWV, the brown is SU! and the white is TAC’s premium white. I colored with my Prismacolor markers and used my swiss dots folder. I think she’ll adore it!

I am attending a baby shower this weekend and needed a card. The girl who is the mom is young (17) and in a rough situation (not married, parents are mentally handicapped, hangs with a rough crowd, etc.). Her parents attend our church and we as a church felt that it was appropriate to embrace this girl and her baby and try to get them in a better position. Our church does not believe in children out of wedlock, BUT we also believe in helping those in need, and this child and her child are in need. We decided to throw her a baby shower. I pray that she can see the love of our church and of Christ. SO, I created this card especially for her. I hope that she will feel the outpouring of love and support that we have for her. I do hope that she can realize that the paths she has chosen are not the best one’s and that she can make a change in her life for herself and her little baby.
The image stamps are from CTMH’s Flower Child and the saying is from TAC’s Hello Baby. The paper is SU!’s Purely Pomegranate, TAC’s Premium White, and Matchmakers Yellow 2. The images are colored with Prismacolor Markers (I swear they should pay me for endorsing them so much) and the ribbon is from Offray. Thanks for looking.

I created this card based off of a coffee cup. I was camping this past weekend and it got a little chilly, so I dug out my Dixie coffee cups and sipping my Joe around the campfire. I looked at the cup and thought, “That would make a great card!!!”. So I picked it for todays inspiration.
The CS is SU’s chocolate chip and creamy caramel and the white is from georgia pacific. I used TAC’s Ice Cream Stamp set and stamped the caramel all over with versamark and the Ice Cream stamp. I cut out the ovals with my cricut, though would have been much easier with punches. On the white oval, I stamped the cone and then masked it and stamped the ice cream bar all around it. The images are colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. I ran the card base through my cuttlebug with the new diamonds folder after stamping the Ice Cream all over. All in all, I like how it turned out. I just wish TAC had a coffee set. Maybe in the new catty!?!?!? One can hope!

I finally found it! I was convinced that every man and his brother had this folder for the cuttlebug except me. Well, I ran into Joanns and they were well stocked in the newer folders. I bought 4, lol. And they were all 40% off this week!!! Gotta love a deal.
I made this card for someone special and will mail it out tomorrow, but I wanted to share it with you all. These images are from TAC’s retired set “My Honey”. I had a very difficult time coloring this bear. He was not blending right for anything. Switched from Georgia Pacific to TAC’s Premium White and he colored great! I’ve never had trouble with GP paper, but it gave me a fit this time. Then, I couldn’t come up with a layout. Well, after getting the CB swiss dots folder, I thought it was the perfect touch. I think I finally like this card! What do you think???
